About my Trunk Show and Lecture
Title: Behind the Designs
In this one hour lecture I share almost 100 quilts and runners - providing lots of inspiration and a little something for every quilter. I love sharing with quilters about what inspired the designs and the cheater techniques used to create the design. I talk about how I "engineer" with fabric and color, giving insight about how to combine those cheater techniques and lots of color to create eye-catching patterns. My hope is that everyone will learn something new, while being inspired to create. I also share a little bit about my work as a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs. Each trunk show is followed up with time to answer questions, chat with me and shop my books, patterns, and kits. My fees for a 1 hour lecture range from $350-$500. I also charge for mileage and travel expenses.
A Note about Heather's classes:
I offer a broad range of class options, depending on what your group wants to learn, their skill level and the time available. Each participant is required to have a book or pattern, but can bring their own fabric or kit. I can also provide kits, depending on what class project is chosen. If you would like to read about my class offerings, I'd be happy to email you my class list. My class fees range from $350-$650, plus travel expenses. I require a minimum of 12 participants and can accomate up to 30 (depending on the class and skill level of participants).

November 3-5 - Plaid and Posie Class and In Bloom Class, followed by a Trunk Show and tea on Novemeber 5th at 2 p,m. Offered through the Missouri Valley Quilt Guild, Bismark, ND
