RBD Block Challenge Kit - Market Street and Grasscloth Cottons
This year, I am once again joining Riley Blake Designs in doing their block challenge, starting January 4th. You can read about all the details by clicking on the Info tab on this website, then scrolling down until you see the RBD Block Challenge Info.
***Please note that the background fabrics for Option 1 is sold out and any orders placed after 5/14/24 will be shipped after the print is back in stock. The approximate arrival date for the background fabrics is 5/29/24.
In the last couple of years, I have offered kits of my fabrics for this sew along. Since I don't have all of the quilt block and quilt instructions yet, it's hard for me to give an exact amount of fabric - so I'm offering a Fat 1/8th bundle of the prints for the blocks. It's a little generous for some prints, but that way there will be enough and there may even be some leftovers. I've added an estimate on the yardage for the background, border, post fabric and binding, based on the fabric requirements list as given by Riley Blake.
The 2 options for the kits are:
Option 1 - Shown in the 1st photo - Market Street Fat Eighth Bundle, plus 2.5 yards Deep Sea Grasscloth Cottons background, 7/8 yard berry border, and 1 yard stripe
Option 2 - Shown in the 2nd photo -Grasscloth Cottons Fat Eighth Bundle, plus 3 yards Warm Navy background and 1 yard deep sea post and binding fabric .
Add a backing: You can add a backing to your kit! You can pick any of the prints from the Market Street collection of Grasscloth Cottons collection. Just leave a note in the comment section of the order form to select your print. If you don't comment, we will select something pretty for you. The backing will come as a 3 3/8 yard piece of fabric.
*** If your shipping fee adds up to be more than the actual shipping fee, you will be refunded the difference. Our shipping fees are calculated for each item. This works fine for most things in our store, but for fabric it calculates a fee for each half yard, so this is why the shipping fees on fabric can come in at more than what the actual shipping fee will be.
