Tulip Festival Kit

This kit features the First Blooms collection by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs. The kit includes fabric for the quilt top, plus binding fabric AND the pattern. Kit comes in a keepsake box with a printed belly band label. This size is shown in the first photo. The price of this kit is $148.95.

We also have a smaller lap size kit option, available with a vanilla mini blooms background fabric. Please note that this option does not come in a keepsake box. The size of that quilt option is 56" x 63.5" and is shown in the 4th-11th photos. The cost of the kit and pattern will be $102.95. Please specify in the comment section of the order form if you would like the yellow plaid border shown in the digital quilt or the aqua pressed flowers print shown in the "real" quilt.

Backing:
If you would like to get backing to go with your quilt, we have the denim color of the 108" wide back or you can get any of the 44" wide prints from the collection. The wide backs will be $19 per yard and the 44" wide goods will be $12 per yard. If you order backing, please add a note to the order page that includes which print you would like.

The 10th and 11th photos show the backing that we chose for this quilt - It's the Double Lush Velvet by Riley Blake Designs. It is similar to minky in feel and is super soft and lush! This fabric is $13.99 per half yard and is 58-60" wide. You will need 2 yards to back this size quilt. (Please note: It is a little bit of a tight squeeze to fit this backing on this quilt at 56" wide, so please note that there is not a lot of extra width to play with. Some machine quilters may not accept your project without having a certain number of extra inches on both sides of the quilt, so you may want to check with your quilter before purchasing this backing. I quilted this myself and didn't have any trouble making it work, but I wanted to give that disclaimer in case!)
